Yes, this is a true story of pharma king of India, hailing from northern state of India, Bihar.
After graduating from prestigious Patna University, the man started a small pharma shop in Gaya, Bihar, by pledging his wife jewelry and within a few years established his own pharma manufacturing company.
Since then, he never looked back and established one of the biggest pharma companies in India, having a worth of Rs. 18000 Crore.
But, who knew one day the man will hit by a disease, taking all his memory and making him bed ridden.
What happened to him was certainly a big tragedy but the worst was still waiting. Once he was immobile and incapacitated, his wife and sons were thrown out in street, by his own brother and a senior female official in the company, claiming to be his real wife.
Now, they are living in street with no money to fight the case. There are series of litigation both at Supreme Court and Delhi High Court involving Succession Act to Company Act.
Let's see what Court decides but it's a tough and long battle.
This could be repeated in any one's life. So, are we ready to stop this atleast in our life.
How, this kind of situation be avoided in our own house.
Let's assume one is alive but in vegetative stage so it's too tough for family members to know your wish, your line of treatment and distribution of property.
The entire situation can be handled by drawing a living Will, which comes in force while the person is still alive, generally Will comes in effect after the death of a person.
So, without loosing any time let's get into the process of withdrawing a living Will.
If you have one Will, let's examine it, does it has living Will clause in it ?
We also need to find out, how real is our existing Will, if there is any and can it sustain the scrutiny of law after your death.
