Why Muslim girls have no equal rights in property?
Why Muslim girls have no equal rights in property? In Islam, daughters are entitled to receive an inheritance from their father's estate, just like sons. This is stated clearly in the Quran:"Allah commands you as regards your children's (inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females" (Quran 4:11)This means that in Islamic inheritance law, a daughter is entitled to receive half of what a son would receive.Additionally, Muslim girls have other rights in their family, such as the right to be treated with kindness and respect, and the right to be educated. The general principle is that Muslim girls have rights in their family and their father's property but not equal to son's right. So, it is right time to talk about equal rights in property for Muslim girls too. #property #quran #Muslim #lawDr. Ajay Kummar Pandey
