I saw the light of the day in Bloom Episode yesterday, when legendary chef, Hemendra Oberoi, revealed from his secret receipe that how he climbed the Corporate ladder in Hotel Taj, from an intern to Head and celebrated Chef through out of box thinking.Let's hear it out, straight from him, one day I was on round after lunch and I saw that some employees of Taj around were sitting ideal and busy in gossiping in the area deginated for lunch of senior employees.I asked myself how come they are here at this hour, when their lunch break was only of 45 minutes ?The designated place for employees was one of the best location of Mumbai, facing massive sea and Gateway of India.Now, the issue was how to deal with this adda of gossip. An idea stuck me to turn this place into restaurant. But seniors were not convinced with my idea, considering this place to be very small. But finally I managed to convince them & a wall was dismantled & a new restaurant was born at Taj, which still exit today.
